A Slayers Doujinshi by Shell Presto.
What You should know
This page will house my doujinshi additions to my
fanfiction, also titled 'One Third Human.' I do not intend on doing the
entire fanfiction in comic form, as it is far too time consuming now that
I have a personal comic to do as well (in other words, one I can do to
actually advance my dream of becoming an artist/author).
The scenes I plan to revisit will not be a straight-from-the-fanfiction
comic. I will be making minor changes, omissions, and semi-major editions.
("Semi-major editions?" you wonder?) Well, for starters, you will actually
get to see the fight between Milgesia and Zelgadis to its end, which was
only mentioned in the fanfiction. Other scenes will be added that could
not have been described in words. I also hope to add more feeling in certain
scenes, as different mediums render different effects, and a picture can
speak a thousand words (whereas in my fanfiction, words have to create
a picture). Consequently, there will also be scenes that can only be found
in the fanfic as well.
This comic will be predominantly black and white,
with colour pages or panels where I feel it adds emphasis.
This comic will an almagatic experience. I completely
revamped my art style on page 12. Bear with the first 11 pages, and I guarantee
a smoothly illustrated and laid out comic from then on in. (Well, as smooth
as a novice can be!)
Finally, there is more of my artwork on the fanart
page, including character sketches and redesigns as I hit each character
in the comic.
